About Arc for Windows
Arc for Windows will bring the same AI screen assistant experience that Android users love to your PC. Whether you’re reading a long article in Edge, reviewing a document in Word, or composing an email in Outlook, Arc’s floating sidebar will help you summarize, listen, write, and automate — without switching apps.
What makes Arc different on Windows
Most desktop AI tools on Windows require you to copy-paste text into a separate application or use a browser-based chatbot. Arc works directly on what’s already visible on your screen. On Windows, this means integrating with the UI Automation framework to read on-screen content and provide AI-powered assistance in any desktop application — including legacy Win32 apps, modern UWP apps, and browser windows.
Arc for Windows will support system tray integration, global hotkeys, and a floating panel that docks at the edge of your screen. Whether you’re a knowledge worker, student, developer, or casual user, Arc will fit into your existing Windows workflow seamlessly.
